The present document expresses the absolute commitment of the company’s Management to the development and implementation of an environmental management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015.
This Environmental Policy Statement is communicated to all employees and those involved in the Company’s activities inside and outside the Company, the Company’s Suppliers, Partners and Customers as well as the general public.
The actions followed by “ELVIDA FOODS S.A.” on environmental issues are aimed at increasing the appreciation and confidence of customers, competent authorities, employees, shareholders and society in general towards the Company.
The Company is committed to protect the environment, to comply continuously with the relevant Greek and European Legislation, to prevent any potential pollution that could be caused by the operation of the Company, to comply with its Standard Environmental Commitments and to continuously improve its Environmental performance and the Environmental Management System in general.
In the production of products, the objective is to use the appropriate raw materials, to make a rational and efficient use of Energy and resources in general, and the waste produced should be the least possible and managed in an environmentally friendly manner and in accordance with the applicable Legislative requirements (National or European legislation).
